How we work
We do not subcontract the hard part
Plenty of shops replace the glass and send the car somewhere else for camera calibration. That means two appointments, two companies and two chances for something to be missed.
We calibrate here, static and dynamic, and you get documentation showing it passed. One visit, one company, one person accountable for the result.
We tell you when it is safe to drive, not when it is convenient
Urethane cures at a rate that depends on the product, the temperature and the humidity. A number that is right in July is wrong in January.
So we do not quote a blanket drive-away time. The technician checks conditions on the day and tells you the exact time before leaving. If a shop gives you a time before they have seen the weather, they are guessing.
We would rather repair than sell you glass
A chip smaller than a quarter can usually be repaired in about twenty minutes, often with no deductible. That is a smaller job and a smaller invoice than a replacement.
We will still tell you when it is repairable. Send a photo and you will get an honest answer, not a quote for the biggest job we can justify.
OEM and OEE glass only
OEM glass is made by the manufacturer that supplied your car's original windshield. OEE is made to the same specification, often by the same factories, without the carmaker's branding. Both fit properly and support your camera.
We do not fit low-grade aftermarket glass. Distortion, poor fit and failed calibrations are not worth the saving, and we would rather lose the job than install it.
The warranty stays with the car
Workmanship is covered for the life of the glass, and it transfers if you sell the vehicle. Keep the invoice with the service records and the next owner is still covered.
Almost nobody offers that, and it is worth knowing if you are planning to sell.
Why it matters
Your windshield is part of the safety cage
It helps hold the roof up in a rollover and backstops the passenger airbag when it fires. Bonded correctly it does both. Rushed, it does neither. That is the whole reason we tell you the exact time it is safe to drive instead of guessing.
